Boxabl begins Nasdaq trading after completing FG Merger II SPAC deal
Boxabl, a modular housing manufacturer, became publicly traded after stockholder approval of its business combination with FG Merger II Corp.
Boxabl Inc., a Las Vegas-based modular housing manufacturer, began trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market on Monday under the ticker symbol BXBL after completing its SPAC merger with FG Merger II Corp., according to HousingWire.
The company said the move to public markets followed stockholder approval of the business combination with FG Merger II, which had been trading previously under the symbol FGMC.
Boxabl builds modular, factory-produced building components that can be shipped and assembled on-site, positioning its approach as a way to reduce construction costs and shorten build times compared with traditional site-built homes, the outlet said.
HousingWire noted the listing comes as investor and industry attention remains on industrialized construction to help builders increase supply amid tight existing-home inventory, elevated mortgage rates, and persistent cost pressures.
