Real estate agent finds AI content can become generic
The agent says AI sped up content and site building, but made her writing feel “completely forgettable,” prompting a shift to use AI for sharper judgment and perspective.
HousingWire spoke with a real estate agent who said using AI did not make her less authentic, but instead highlighted how easily automated writing can sound bland. She described content produced through AI workflows as polished and easy to read, yet “completely forgettable,” with a tone and cadence she began to notice repeated across different agents and platforms.
She said she adopted AI early and used it to move faster on tasks like website creation, blog and marketing ideas, and organizing client resources and photos. In her account, AI helped her produce content at scale, taking weeks of work before lunch, and it also enabled technical execution she previously lacked.
The agent said her main lesson was that writing was not the hard part, choosing what her content should say was. She later focused on bringing her own point of view into the process, including uploading older scripts after upgrading to a professional account, to keep her voice consistent while using AI to speed up production.
