Newmark wins long-term assignment managing 21M sf office portfolio

The deal expands Newmark's relationship with 601W Companies, including more than 12M sf in Chicago and over 9M sf across New York City, New Jersey, and Los Angeles.

Newmark has been awarded a long-term property and project management assignment by institutional investor and developer 601W Companies, expanding its role in the management of an office portfolio exceeding 21 million square feet across the United States.

The portfolio includes more than 12 million square feet in Chicago, along with more than nine million additional square feet across key markets that include New York City, New Jersey, and Los Angeles.

ConnectCRE reports that Newmark secured the assignment through an effort led by Jesse Van Dyke, Executive Vice President, Midwest Regional Market Leader, and Richard Holden, President, Property Management.

Van Dyke said the assignment underscores the value of combining deep local market knowledge in Chicago with resources and capabilities from Newmark's global platform.
