Robert Kiyosaki warns of a global economic crash and urges preparation

He reiterated that downturns can wipe out many investors while a smaller group benefits, and he pointed to past pullbacks in gold and silver as an entry moment.

Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki renewed his warning about a looming global economic downturn, saying the world could see one of the biggest financial crashes in history. Writing on X, he urged followers to prepare for turbulence and argued that how people respond determines who wins and who loses during a downturn.

Kiyosaki said he previously warned about such a scenario and claimed that readers who followed the guidance in Rich Dad's Prophecy are in a stronger position today. He also said it is not too late for people to change course, noting that financial crises often redistribute wealth.

The financial educator added that he continues to advocate holding assets such as gold, silver and Bitcoin during periods of economic uncertainty. He cited sharp declines in recent moves, saying gold fell from $5,405 to $4,006 and silver dropped from $118 to $56, and he argued that some speculators buy at peaks and sell after prices fall.

Kiyosaki said he is in agreement with investor Jim Rogers’ view that gold and silver could rally strongly, while also saying investors should expect sharp corrections. He said that during the most recent retracement or crash, he bought more gold and silver.
