Spot Bitcoin ETFs see $225M outflows after seven-session inflow run

It was the first net outflow day since July 13, even as the funds still pulled in about $274M net for the week as of Thursday.

US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds ended a seven-session net inflow streak with $225.2 million in net outflows on Thursday, according to SoSoValue, marking their first daily net outflow since July 13.

Cointelegraph reports the ETFs had still accumulated about $274 million in net inflows for the week as of Thursday, even after the pullback.

The outflows coincided with weaker market sentiment and a drop in Bitcoin price after US stocks fell amid renewed US-Iran tensions. Bitcoin was trading around $65,403 at the time of publication, after dipping as low as $64,600.

Cointelegraph also notes that US-listed spot Ether ETFs extended their inflow streak to five sessions, with a net $26.3 million in inflows on Thursday, while the Crypto Fear and Greed Index fell 3 points to 28 and stayed in “fear” territory on Friday, according to Alternative.me.
