Mesirow buys Midtown Atlanta apartment community for $132 million
The deal covers a 1.25-acre site and the 20-story Sixty 11th Apartments, completed in 2016 with 320 units.
A real estate fund managed by Mesirow has acquired Sixty 11th Apartments in Midtown Atlanta for $132 million, according to ConnectCRE. ConnectCRE reports the seller was 60 11th Street LLC. Mesirow’s fund bought the 1.25-acre site in connection with an earlier purchase arranged for Daniel Realty Co. LLC, an affiliate of Daniel Corp., in 2014. The property is a 20-story tower completed in 2016 that includes 320 apartments. ConnectCRE says the building is part of the multi-block master-planned development 12th & Midtown and includes one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. Amenities highlighted by ConnectCRE include a clubroom, game room, fitness center and a sky deck with views of the Atlanta skyline, plus a terrace level with landscaping, a zero-entry saline swimming pool and outdoor dining areas. The tower also features 15,000 square feet of ground-level retail and restaurant space.
