Brookfield Properties rebrands as BGRE
The rebrand changes the company name only, with no shifts to business operations or personnel, while BGRE oversees more than 330 million square feet globally.
Brookfield Properties has rebranded as BGRE, with the company saying the change announced Sunday is limited to its name.
According to the announcement, the rebrand reflects the real estate arm’s growth as a global operator and developer, but it carries no changes to business operations or personnel.
BGRE is described as the developer and operator of more than 330 million square feet of office, logistics, hospitality, retail and residential space worldwide, including the Manhattan West commercial complex.
The BGRE rebrand comes after Brookfield Corporation’s recent moves, including selling Multiplex for $650 million to Japan’s Obayashi in June, and reported talks in early July about replacing Hines in the $3.5 billion Hudson Square Properties joint venture.
