CBRE Q2 revenue rises as data center services top $700 million
CBRE said second-quarter revenue increased 15.5% year over year to $11.2 billion, with U.S. office leasing posting its highest-ever second-quarter revenue.
Commercial Observer reports that CBRE posted strong second-quarter results for 2026, highlighting surging data center services and a rebound in U.S. office leasing. The firm reported $11.2 billion in second-quarter revenue, roughly in line with analyst estimates, and said revenue grew 15.5% year over year. CBRE also pointed to continued improvement versus earlier quarters, with revenue up about 6.6% from the first quarter. On profitability, core earnings per share came in at $1.56, and adjusted profit rose to $459 million from $361 million a year earlier, excluding one-off items such as fire-safety repairs on U.K. buildings. Data center services were a major driver, contributing more than $700 million in second-quarter revenue. CBRE said its infrastructure services segment, which includes data centers, was its fastest-growing business, with revenue rising more than 45% annually to nearly $1.2 billion, while data center revenues increased nearly 30% year over year to surpass $700 million. On leasing, Commercial Observer reports that CBRE said U.S. office leasing recorded a second-quarter record, including its highest-ever second-quarter office leasing revenue. The company attributed the strength to gateway markets and space upgrades by financial and legal tenants, and CFO Emma Giamartino added that the leasing side still has not returned to 2019 levels.
