New Silver buys Mayflower Venture Partners to expand New England lending
The deal adds Mayflower borrowers access to New Silver products including DSCR rental loans, with Mayflower continuing to operate under the New Silver platform after the acquisition.
HousingWire reports that New Silver Lending LLC has acquired Mayflower Venture Partners to expand its fix-and-flip and construction lending presence in New England.
New Silver said the purchase will give Mayflower borrowers access to New Silver’s broader investor loan products, including debt-service-coverage ratio (DSCR) rental loans, as well as additional capital capacity for larger and more complex projects.
Mayflower, a Quincy, Massachusetts-based direct lender focused on single-family and small multifamily properties across New England, will continue to serve existing and new clients under the New Silver platform following the transaction.
New Silver CEO Kirill Bensonoff said the acquisition is intended to strengthen New Silver’s presence in New England and build on the service Mayflower has provided for years, while financial terms were not disclosed.
