Green Brick Partners names Jed Dolson co-CEO effective Oct. 15, 2026
The Dallas-based homebuilder and land developer said Dolson, currently COO and president, will step into the co-CEO role as part of a planned succession process.
Green Brick Partners will promote its president and chief operating officer Jed Dolson to co-chief executive officer effective Oct. 15, 2026, as the company continues a planned leadership transition, HousingWire reported.
Dolson is currently also president, and the promotion is framed as an element of the firm’s long-term succession planning rather than a sudden change. Green Brick did not provide additional structural details about how the co-CEO arrangement will work.
Green Brick said Dolson joined the company in 2013 and has worked across land acquisition and development and builder operations. His roles have included president of the Texas region, executive vice president and COO leading builder operations and land acquisition and development, and president of Green Brick Partners.
The company described Dolson’s background as aligning with its Texas and Sun Belt platforms, where it builds and develops through a portfolio of builder brands, and noted he also served as president of Trophy Signature Homes from 2022 to 2024 during a key expansion period. Green Brick trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker GRBK.
