Strategy posts $8.2 billion loss as bitcoin holdings rise in Q2
The Block says Strategy ended Q2 with bitcoin down more than 40% versus Q2 2025, despite boosting its holdings by 11%.
According to The Block, Strategy reported an $8.2 billion loss for the quarter as it increased its bitcoin holdings during Q2.
The outlet said the company’s bitcoin holdings rose 11% over the quarter, even as bitcoin’s price was more than 40% lower at the end of Q2 compared with Q2 2025.
