Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance promotes two leaders in healthcare liability
The promotions are effective immediately, with Jarek Chmielowski set to lead portfolio strategy and underwriting performance and Greg Struhar moving into national underwriting oversight.
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has promoted two leaders within its Healthcare Professional Liability business, effective immediately, according to Risk & Insurance.
Jarek Chmielowski has been named Healthcare Institutions Portfolio Manager, tasked with leading the Healthcare Institutions portfolio strategy, underwriting performance, and continued market expansion across the U.S. Greg Struhar has been promoted to National Underwriting Manager, Healthcare Institutions, and will oversee national underwriting execution, reporting to Chmielowski.
The carrier said Chmielowski and Struhar have each played a role in growing and supporting its health care business, and that together they will further strengthen capabilities while continuing to deliver responsive service to customers and broker partners.
