Invesco Real Estate CIO outlines strategy across private real estate vehicles
Invesco Real Estate Income Trust, a $1.3 billion non-traded REIT, and INCREF help anchor its core-plus and income-oriented private wealth offerings.
Commercial Observer spoke with Chase Bolding, chief investment officer and head of North American real estate at Invesco Real Estate, which is a $90 billion subsidiary of Invesco, a $2 trillion asset manager.
Bolding said his work in New York City managing portfolios covering roughly $40 billion of commercial real estate assets supports the firm’s institutional platform and its growing private wealth business launched in 2019.
He described how the private wealth strategy includes Invesco Real Estate Income Trust, a $1.3 billion non-traded REIT focused on stabilized properties across sectors, and Invesco Commercial Real Estate Finance Trust, a perpetual life REIT made up of loans and preferred equity interests secured by commercial real estate assets.
Bolding also discussed his background, including building experience across all asset classes and markets and specializing in stressed and distressed assets, after joining Invesco Real Estate in 2010 following work from 2008 to 2010 at Greenfield Partners.
