Brown & Riding adds Abe Kane to National Casualty Practice
Kane, with more than 20 years of experience, focuses on casualty solutions for public entities and higher education, including structuring complex programs across multiple liability and workers’ comp lines.
Brown & Riding announced that Abe Kane has joined the firm’s National Casualty Practice, adding to its leadership and client coverage expertise in casualty insurance.
According to Risk & Insurance, Kane brings more than 20 years of industry experience, specializing in casualty solutions for public entities and higher education institutions, with prior work spanning underwriting, reinsurance, and specialty brokerage.
The appointment also highlights Kane’s experience structuring complex insurance programs across property, general liability, commercial auto, excess and umbrella liability, workers’ compensation, and management and professional liability coverages, including public officials’ liability, law enforcement liability, educators legal liability, and employment practices liability.
Risk & Insurance said Brown & Riding’s chief distribution officer, Cristi Carrington, welcomed Kane to the firm, citing his client-first approach and layered industry experience.
