Tysers Singapore appoints Prantika Sengupta to lead marine claims
The appointment follows Sengupta’s prior roles at Sealead Shipping and CMA CGM, and is intended to strengthen Tysers marine claims coverage across APAC.
Tysers Singapore, a specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has named Prantika Sengupta Director of Marine Claims & Client Relations, expanding leadership for its marine claims offering across the APAC region, according to Reinsurance News.
Sengupta brings 15 years of experience spanning maritime law, insurance and reinsurance, claims management, and dispute resolution, with a background handling cargo claims and contractual disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
Most recently, she served as Global Director, Legal at Sealead Shipping, and previously worked as Deputy General Counsel and Head of Claims and Insurance for APAC at CMA CGM.
In the new role, Sengupta will work under Chris Sydernham, Chairman of Claims, and collaborate with Marlena Truszczynska, Head of Shipping Claims in London, who joined Tysers in February from Norwegian Hull Club.
