Extend AI signs 8,750-sf lease at 119 Fifth Avenue
The AI document processing firm is relocating from 135 West 29th Street to take the entire sixth floor at the 1906 building, with asking rent cited at $105 per square foot.
Extend AI, an artificial intelligence-driven document processing firm, has signed an 8,750-square-foot lease at 119 Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron District, Commercial Observer reported.
The company will relocate from its current offices at 135 West 29th Street and lease the entire sixth floor, according to Commercial Observer, citing brokers at Nomad Group.
Nomad said the lease term was not disclosed, but property records indicate the building is owned by the Haddad family and the asking rent is $105 per square foot.
Nomad’s Nick Hein said in a statement that 119 Fifth Avenue offers a tech ecosystem and proximity to established companies, and the article notes the building dates to 1906 and sits within the Ladies’ Mile Historic District. Commercial Observer also referenced other recent AI office activity in the area, including Chalk’s lease for 26,607 square feet at 43 West 23rd Street and Warp’s expansion to 24,500 square feet at 156 Fifth Avenue.
