MARA and CleanSpark report steep revenue declines amid AI pivot
Bitcoin mining companies MARA and CleanSpark posted major revenue drops as their AI infrastructure push continued, according to The Block.
MARA reported a net loss of $611.3 million, or $1.60 per diluted share, alongside a double-digit decline in revenue.
CleanSpark recorded a net loss of $239.8 million, or $0.89 per basic share, while also seeing its revenue fall by double digits.
The results add to pressure on miner profitability as they shift focus toward AI-related infrastructure rather than only traditional crypto mining.
