Selldorf Architects renews 10-year lease at 860 Broadway
The firm’s renewed stay covers 13,815 square feet at the Flatiron District building, extending its occupancy there for another decade.
Architecture firm Selldorf Architects has renewed a 10-year lease for 13,815 square feet at Gordon Property Group’s 860 Broadway in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, according to Commercial Observer.
Selldorf has occupied the building for about two decades, and the renewal extends that tenure while the asking rent for the deal was not disclosed.
Commercial Observer cited Colliers data showing average asking rent for Midtown South office space at $79.41 per square foot in the second quarter, with Class A averaging $97.22 and Class B averaging $79.96.
Colliers represented Gordon Property, while Savills represented the tenant; Commercial Observer also noted 860 Broadway is a six-story office building with ground-floor retail and existing tenants including Valon Technologies and Kaltura.
