Freeway launches an auto insurance rate-quote app inside ChatGPT
The Freeway Insurance app gathers details on drivers and vehicles to produce an estimated rate before users continue to a full quote.
Freeway Insurance has launched an app in ChatGPT that lets consumers get an estimated auto insurance rate through a conversational flow, according to Coverager.
The Freeway app asks users questions about themselves, their drivers, and their vehicles to generate the estimate, after which users can continue with Freeway for a more detailed quote.
Coverager reports the integration is designed to add another distribution entry point for Freeway by starting the insurance shopping process without first visiting a broker’s website.
Freeway says Root’s technology and insurance products will be integrated into its multi-carrier marketplace, and it also operates a franchise network of more than 500 retail stores nationwide.
