Coldwell Banker Affiliates names new president to drive agent growth
The new president said interest rates are stabilizing and expects luxury home demand to stay strong, while positioning AI as a tool for agents rather than a replacement for human judgment.
Coldwell Banker Affiliates has appointed Mary Lee Blaylock as its new president, as the network advances its “One Coldwell Banker” brand strategy to align company operations and affiliates under a unified platform, HousingWire reports.
Blaylock said her priorities include driving strategic growth with affiliate owners, supporting agent growth, and expanding into additional markets beyond the company’s existing footprint, while emphasizing empathy, education, and the human element in residential real estate.
Speaking to HousingWire, Blaylock pointed to consumer confidence and interest rates as key factors shaping buyer and seller behavior, adding that she sees interest rates stabilizing and the luxury market remaining strong.
She also discussed how she expects artificial intelligence to be used by agents as a tool to enhance relationships and decision making, arguing that human judgment, emotional intelligence, and relationships will remain essential in the industry.
