Gallagher Bassett names Leah Sharp SVP for GBCARE and managed care
Sharp will oversee clinical teams, medical bill review, Medicare and Medicaid compliance, and nurse triage in the GBCARE and managed care services portfolio.
Gallagher Bassett promoted Leah Sharp to senior vice president of GBCARE and Managed Care Services, expanding her responsibilities across the company’s managed care operations, according to Risk & Insurance.
In her new role, Sharp oversees clinical teams, Medical Bill Review, network strategies, ancillary network oversight, Medicare and Medicaid compliance, and nurse triage.
Sharp joined Gallagher Bassett in 2019 as senior vice president of Clinical Services. Before that, she served as president of CareReview Inc., delivering physician, nurse, and technology solutions to third-party administrators, pharmacy benefits managers, and carriers.
Sharp holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in kinesiology and biomechanics from Auburn University.
