ParkProperty Capital buys 280-unit apartment in Atlanta for $75 million
The acquisition of The Jane from CWS Capital Partners follows ParkProperty’s 2022 purchase of an adjacent multifamily property, The Monroe.
ParkProperty Capital has acquired The Jane, a 280-unit multifamily apartment community in Atlanta’s Brookwood district, adjacent to Buckhead, for $75 million, according to ConnectCRE.
CWS Capital Partners was the seller. The property, formerly known as Marquis at Buckhead, is located near the Beltline Northside Trail along Colonial Homes Drive Northwest, and features one- and two-bedroom floor plans.
Amenities at The Jane include a saltwater pool, two sundecks, outdoor sporting and recreation space, and a regulation-size Bocce Ball court. The community’s branding is tied to the local golf legend Bobby Jones, reflecting the name Calamity Jane, which also references his putter.
ConnectCRE reports that ParkProperty Capital plans to renovate the interiors to better align with the property’s branding while honoring its contemporary Southern exterior architecture. The firm also bought an adjacent multifamily property, The Monroe, in 2022, and owns other multifamily assets in metros including Houston, Charlotte, Austin, Seattle, and Phoenix.
