Anthony Pompliano ties Bitcoin’s long-term outlook to continued money printing
Pompliano said Bitcoin has compounded at an annual growth rate of more than 60% and argued that accelerating money supply could lift Bitcoin, gold, real estate, and stocks over time.
Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Professional Capital Management, said he is confident Bitcoin will perform well over the long term if authorities keep expanding the money supply. In an interview with Fox Business, he criticized Washington, D.C. as continuing to increase the money supply and framed his stance as a bet he is willing to make.
Pompliano said that if governments keep printing money, Bitcoin would rise over the long run, and he added that gold, real estate, and stocks could also benefit. He also discussed Strategy Inc. founder Michael Saylor’s view that Bitcoin could gain 30% per year for the next 20 years, saying that 20 years is a long time and that conditions can change.
He argued that Bitcoin’s growth has compounded at an annual growth rate of more than 60%. He also pointed to a Coinglass comparison between Bitcoin’s price growth and global money supply that broadly supports his case, while noting that during the current bear market the relationship has broken down, with rising money supply not matched by rising Bitcoin prices.
Pompliano previously said Bitcoin does not need the CLARITY Act to reach new all-time highs, arguing Bitcoin already has more regulatory clarity than other cryptocurrencies. The interview also touched on the idea that rapid advances in AI adoption over a similar timeframe show how quickly outcomes can shift, even when long-range predictions are in play.
