Kids in Chips startup Etched signs Jane Street as first customer
The startup has built an in-office data center and has hired from Nvidia via its Etched team focused on chip innovation.
WSJ Markets reports that Etched, a startup branded around “kids in chips,” has signed quant-trading firm Jane Street as its first customer.
The outlet says Etched was founded by Harvard dropouts and operates with its own in-office data center.
WSJ Markets also notes that the company is drawing on talent from Nvidia as it scales its chip-focused efforts.
