First American Title president Sally French Tyler to retire at end of 2026
First American said Tyler’s Title Insurance and Services segment grew revenue 22% in 2025, and commercial revenue reached $1.0 billion, up 32% year over year.
HousingWire reports that Sally French Tyler, president of First American Title Insurance Company, plans to retire at the end of 2026 after a 40-year career in the title industry.
First American said Tyler joined the company in January 2005 and later led the National Commercial Services division, overseeing the business through years of growth and innovation. After responsibilities expanded across First American’s title operations, she was appointed president of First American Title in 2025, where she oversees direct, agency, and commercial title operations.
Under Tyler’s leadership, the Title Insurance and Services segment increased revenue 22% in 2025, and full-year commercial revenue reached $1.0 billion, up 32% from the prior year. HousingWire also notes that she created VisionQuest, an internal program intended to support employee ideas that helped lead to the company’s end-to-end digital platform for commercial real estate transactions.
In comments included in the announcement, Tyler said what she will remember most is the people and the trust earned from customers. The company said she will remain actively engaged with First American through the end of 2026.
