Mech-Mind Robotics seeks Hong Kong IPO orders, aiming for up to $300m
The filing shows Mech-Mind stayed loss-making in 2025, with an adjusted net loss of 109 million yuan, and expects further losses as it spends heavily on R&D and sales.
China’s Mech-Mind Robotics Technologies plans to begin taking investor orders for its Hong Kong IPO as soon as next week, with the listing expected in early September, according to people familiar with the matter cited by SCMP Economy.
The Meituan-backed company has been gauging interest for a deal that could raise about US$300 million, after its previous target was US$200 million. Mech-Mind passed its listing hearing with Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing last week, clearing the final regulatory step for a Hong Kong listing.
SCMP Economy reports that the company remains loss-making. Its filing indicated an adjusted net loss of 109 million yuan (US$16 million) in 2025, compared with a 214 million yuan loss in 2024, and it expects continued losses this year due to heavy spending on research and development and sales.
The filing also showed China’s securities regulator approved Mech-Mind’s plan to issue up to 27.48 million overseas ordinary shares on August 7, according to SCMP Economy.
