Cerenome triples its space at Hines' Levit Green life sciences campus

The oncology company expanded its Levit Green lease from 11,370 square feet to 36,500 square feet, and a lab and office it is designing on Phase 1's fifth floor is expected to be completed in Q4 2027.

Cerenome Inc., a Houston-based central nervous system oncology company formerly known as Plus Therapeutics, has tripled its footprint at Levit Green, a 53-acre life sciences district adjacent to the Texas Medical Center, according to Bisnow.

The company first leased 11,370 square feet in December, then expanded its lease to 36,500 square feet, the Houston Business Journal reported. Hines said the growth is aligned with Levit Green's goal of supporting life sciences companies as they expand.

Levit Green’s first phase includes a 290,000 square foot, five-story laboratory and biomanufacturing facility completed in 2023. Cerenome, working with Hines, is designing and constructing a laboratory and office on the fifth floor of Phase 1, which is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Hines described the lease as one of the largest in Houston’s life sciences sector in recent years. The developer also pointed to other momentum in the area, including Eli Lilly and Bristol Myers Squibb committing to multibillion-dollar manufacturing investments in Northeast Houston’s Generation Park.
