AI supplier Wiwynn plans 886,000-SF factory near El Paso
The project is slated for Socorro, with the city approving a $1.8 million incentive package and targeting about 2,000 workers for the new operation.
WiWynn Technology plans to build an 886,000-square-foot factory in Socorro, just outside El Paso, according to ConnectCRE.
The company, an infrastructure provider for AI data centers, said the plant will support distribution of IT cloud products and components.
WiWynn recently established operations in Socorro in 2025, where it plans a campus of more than 1.6 million square feet and a combined workforce of 2,500 employees, the outlet reported.
Socorro approved a $1.8 million incentive package to back the investment, ConnectCRE added, noting WiWynn currently operates manufacturing facilities in Taiwan, Mexico, and Malaysia.
