Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs add $23 billion in inflows last week

Decrypt reports that $2.6 billion of the week’s inflow represented new money, with the rest tied to existing holdings rising in value.

Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs saw total inflows of $23.0 billion over the past week, marking their strongest inflow week since October, according to Decrypt.

The outlet said only $2.6 billion of that figure came from investors adding fresh capital, while the larger portion reflected gains from coins investors already owned.

Decrypt attributed the disproportionate inflow mix to the appreciation of underlying crypto holdings inside the ETFs, rather than solely to net new purchases.
