QXO appoints Honeywell executive Ken West as president and COO
The role begins Sept. 1, 2026, and West will oversee day-to-day operations as QXO targets $50B in annual revenue through acquisitions.
QXO has named Ken West, a veteran Honeywell executive, as its president and chief operating officer, effective Sept. 1, 2026, as the building products distribution company pushes forward with an aggressive M&A strategy, HousingWire reports.
West will oversee QXO’s day-to-day operations and take primary responsibility for executing the company’s operating plan across its businesses, reporting to chairman and CEO Brad Jacobs.
The announcement says West brings more than two decades of experience leading and integrating large industrial organizations through complex transitions, portfolio shifts, and acquisitions.
HousingWire also notes West most recently served as president and CEO of Honeywell Process Technology and helped drive changes there, including the spin-off of Solstice Advanced Materials and Honeywell’s 2025 acquisition of Sundyne and its integration into Honeywell automation and digital platforms.
