InfiniG raises $5.2M seed round for commercial indoor cellular coverage
The Los Gatos, California company plans to expand its mobile coverage as a service rollouts using Citizens Broadband Radio Service and aims to streamline operator integration.
Commercial Observer reports that InfiniG, an enterprise cellular platform for commercial real estate, raised a $5.2 million seed round.
Early-stage venture capital firms J2 Ventures and Stormbreaker Ventures led the financing, and InfiniG said it will use the funds to expand its mobile coverage as a service, automate mobile-operator integration, scale its InfiniG Insights, and advance its automation and physical artificial intelligence efforts.
InfiniG’s MCaaS offering is designed to let building owners deploy neutral-host, multicarrier indoor cellular coverage without the complexity and cost of traditional distributed antenna systems, while also creating an upgradeable foundation for future 5G services, private wireless networks, physical AI, and connected-building applications.
The company uses Citizens Broadband Radio Service, a non-carrier spectrum, to provide a shared indoor radio infrastructure across AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, and InfiniG said it can reduce the cost for mobile operators to join a network by 5 percent.
