BHI provides $50M construction loan for The District at Jurupa Valley

The 239.2-acre project will add nearly 1,200 housing units, a 122-room hotel, retail and logistics space, with ground broken June 4.

Commercial Observer reports that DO Capital Group has arranged $50 million in construction financing for a mixed-use master-planned project in Jurupa Valley, California, known as The District at Jurupa Valley.

BHI supplied the loan for the developer’s 239.2-acre site in the Inland Empire, which will include nearly 1,200 housing units, a shopping center with restaurants, a 122-room Woodspring Suites hotel, and business park and public parkland.

Developers broke ground on June 4, and the project is described as being about 50 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles.

The site also involves industrial expansion, with Bridge Logistics Properties acquiring more than 68 acres for an industrial facility, according to the report.
