FRP and Woodfield start first phase of Coconut Road mixed-use in Estero
Developers plan about 296 apartments and 30,000 square feet of retail in the first phase, targeting delivery of initial units in Q3 2027.
FRP Development Corp and Woodfield Development have begun construction on the first phase of their Coconut Road mixed-use project in Estero, Florida, at 23281 Lyden Drive, across from Coconut Point, according to ConnectCRE.
The initial phase is planned to add approximately 296 apartment homes in a mix of three- and four-story residential buildings, along with about 30,000 square feet of retail space.
ConnectCRE said the project is designed by Dover Kohl & Partners and will be built by general contractor Brooks & Freund, with Humphreys & Partners Architects and interior design firm ID & Design International supporting the work.
FRP and Woodfield secured an $81.5 million construction loan from Santander Bank for the first phase, and the developers anticipate initial residential units will deliver in the third quarter of 2027.
