Midwood Investment & Development names Aarthi Bansidhar CFO
Bansidhar joined in June and is set to oversee finance and performance management for Midwood’s national office, residential, and retail portfolio.
Midwood Investment & Development has hired Aarthi Bansidhar as its chief financial officer, according to Commercial Observer. Bansidhar joined the New York City-based private real estate firm in June to lead its financial strategy, capital planning, and performance management across its national portfolio.
The outlet says Bansidhar previously served as a managing director at Madison Capital for more than 13 years, after holding roles in finance and real estate for two decades. Before Madison, she worked at Ernst & Young for close to nine years, including as a senior manager in the asset management practice.
Midwood said the new CFO will help strengthen its financial strategy as the company continues to grow and build out its portfolio, Commercial Observer reports, citing CEO John Usdan’s statement. Bansidhar also said she is eager to contribute to the firm’s continued growth.
Projects currently under development include a 25-unit condominium project at 150 East 78th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and a 31-story multifamily rental building at 210 South 12th Street in Philadelphia, the outlet adds.
