US spot Bitcoin ETFs see $1.92B net inflows in strongest week in 10 months
Investors added $606.3 million in net inflows on Aug. 20, the biggest single day in more than three months, after the prior week saw nearly $390 million in net outflows.
US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs logged their strongest weekly inflows in 10 months as a sharp price rally pulled investors back into the market, according to data cited by Yahoo Finance. The funds attracted a combined $1.92 billion in net inflows last week, the largest weekly haul since early October 2025.
Yahoo Finance also reported that Aug. 20 marked the funds’ strongest single-day inflow in more than three months, with investors pouring in $606.3 million. The article noted the inflow surge follows a prior-week pullback, when the ETFs suffered nearly $390 million in net outflows.
The demand increase tracked Bitcoin’s momentum, with the article saying BTC rose around 23% last week, its biggest weekly gain in more than three years. Bitcoin was trading at about 79,473, up around 3% over the past day, as described by Yahoo Finance.
A quoted digital assets executive said the rally was amplified by a short squeeze and by a move lower in long-term Treasury yields, linked to the US Treasury increasing its long-dated bond buybacks. The executive also pointed to expectations around SEC crypto rulemaking and renewed efforts in Washington, while warning ETF flow strength will likely depend on the macro backdrop, including yields, the dollar, and Federal Reserve policy expectations.
