Bitcoin ETFs see $2.56 billion in inflows as rally extends

U.S. spot bitcoin ETF products pulled in $652 million this week alone, lifting bitcoin to about $78,302 after a roughly 25% gain over seven days.

Bitcoin exchange traded funds continued to attract large inflows after last week’s jump, according to Bitcoin Magazine. U.S. investors put $2.56 billion into bitcoin ETFs since last Monday, helping push the cryptocurrency higher.

The article says the gains continued this week as nearly $652 million in fresh cash flowed into bitcoin ETF products managed by firms including BlackRock, Morgan Stanley, and Fidelity.

Bitcoin was recently trading around $78,302, after rising nearly 25% over the prior seven days, with a Monday high of $81,160. The report links the move to expectations around U.S. Treasury plans to at least double the size of its liquidity-support buyback operations, which it says have weighed on the dollar and benefited non-yielding assets like bitcoin and gold.

Bitcoin Magazine also cites Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, who said gold and bitcoin ETFs combined for more than $7 billion in flows over the past week, describing it as a record for a five-day period. The piece adds that investors have been watching concerns tied to U.S. borrowing, a weak dollar, and efforts to contain long-term yields, while also pointing to positive regulatory signals discussed after a meeting between President Donald Trump and crypto executives earlier in the week.
