Soybeans rise as China export sales support grain rally
USDA reported a private sale of 333,000 MT of soybeans to China for 2026/27, while soymeal futures were higher midday.
Soybeans traded higher midday, gaining about 20 to 21 cents, as grain prices extended a rally. The Cash Bean national average was up 21 cents to $12.22 1/2, according to the report.
Soymeal futures were up roughly $6.90 to $7.90 on the day so far, while soy oil was down about 34 to 37 points.
USDA also cited a private export sale for 2026/27, showing 333,000 MT of soybeans sold to China this morning. The article added that Sinograin bought 222,782 MT out of 290,000 MT offered on a Wednesday auction.
