Global Insurance Forum to be held at Lloyd’s in London in November
The Global Insurance Forum, organized by the International Insurance Society, runs November 15 and 16 and will feature C-suite leaders, according to the organizers.
Risk & Insurance reports the International Insurance Society will hold its Global Insurance Forum at Lloyd’s in London on November 15 and 16.
In an interview with Risk & Insurance, Josh Landau, president of the International Insurance Society, said the event is designed as a working session for executives who make capital and strategic decisions, rather than a conference focused on panels about industry challenges.
Landau said the group is bringing together C-suite leaders amid what he described as an inflection point for the industry, with capital redeployed, AI moving from pilot to production, and volatility tied to geopolitical, financial, and climate factors becoming a steady operating environment.
He also said the society’s 2026 Global Priorities Survey of nearly 20,000 global C-suite executives found financial market volatility overtook inflation as the industry’s leading economic concern for the first time, and the forum’s theme reframes volatility as the raw material insurers can convert into growth and product innovation.
Risk & Insurance also noted that speakers at the forum are expected to include Stephen Catlin of Convex Group, as well as Lloyd’s executives including CEO Patrick Tiernan and Dawn Miller, chief commercial officer, Lloyd’s America.
