University of Antelope Valley campus sells for $14.4 million in Lancaster

The buyer plans to reposition the vacant site into a regional hub for community and social services with Los Angeles County.

DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services finalized the $14.4-million sale of an 87,598-square-foot former university campus on roughly 6.4 acres in Lancaster, in Los Angeles County, according to ConnectCRE.

The seller was University of Antelope Valley, LLC, and the buyer was 44049 Sierra Hwy Propco, LLC. VP Dennis Marciniak represented the seller, and he previously represented the university when it acquired the property.

ConnectCRE reports the property was originally developed as a hotel before being converted into the campus of the University of Antelope Valley, a private university that operated there until closing in 2024.

The buyer acquired the vacant campus with plans to reposition it into a regional hub for community and social services in partnership with Los Angeles County, with Marciniak citing the site’s flexible layout, existing infrastructure, and zoning as fitting the new mission.
