Northmarq hires CBRE retail team to expand Houston shopping center sales
The team they brought in has completed more than 1,300 retail transactions totaling over $9B.
Bisnow reports that Northmarq has hired the Houston retail investment sales team led by Matt Berry, Robbie Kilcrease, and Drew Reinking, bringing them into Northmarq’s Houston office as managing directors.
The three former directors of CBRE’s Texas retail investment sales group will join Northmarq’s national shopping center group, and Bisnow says the team has completed more than 1,300 retail transactions totaling over $9B.
Jeff Cox, Northmarq’s executive managing director of commercial investment sales, said the addition strengthens Northmarq’s national retail investment sales platform and expands its ability to serve clients across Texas and other key retail markets.
Bisnow also notes that Berry and Kilcrease ranked No. 5 and No. 6, respectively, on the Houston Business Journal’s list of top Houston retail brokers this year, with both reporting sale volumes of more than $130M in 2025.
