Century Cricket Centre signs 14,000-square-foot NYC lease
The 15-year deal at 25 West 39th Street will place the indoor cricket facilities on the property’s fourth floor and the concept expects to open in the coming months.
Century Cricket Centre, an Australia-based indoor cricket and sports-tech concept, has signed a 14,000-square-foot lease for its first U.S. location in New York City, Commercial Observer reported.
The tenant broker Lee & Associates NYC said the space is at Thor Equities’ 25 West 39th Street, a block south of Bryant Park, with the asking rent for the 15-year term not disclosed. CBRE data cited by Commercial Observer put average asking rent for retail space in the nearby Herald Square neighborhood at $394 per square foot during the second quarter of 2026.
The facility is expected to open in the coming months as the company expands in the U.S., with plans for as many as 30 locations over the next several years. At the Midtown mixed-use building, Century Cricket Centre will install its indoor batting facilities across the entire fourth floor, and the concept will also share the property with Open Squash on the fifth floor, plus a fitness center and bar.
Commercial Observer also noted that the building, built in 1907 and converted into an office in 1961, is home to tenants including content creation platform Spotter and coworking firm SparkLabs. Lee & Associates NYC represented Century Cricket Centre in the lease, while Thor Equities was represented by Thomas Capuano from Okada & Company.
