New Hampshire rehab facility sells for $7.5M, plans new recovery center
The 70-bed Farnum Center stopped inpatient operations in summer 2025 before the $7.5 million sale.
ConnectCRE reports that a former addiction rehab facility in Manchester, New Hampshire, has been sold for $7.5 million, with the buyer planning to open a recovery center on the property.
The facility at 140 Queen City Ave, previously operated as the Farnum Center and described as one of the state's largest inpatient addiction recovery centers, was sold by the Manchester Alcoholism Rehabilitation Center, an affiliate of nonprofit Easterseals.
The article says the buyer is RIO Holdings NH, LLC, an entity linked to the Recovery Institute of Ohio, a substance abuse and mental health treatment center in Sandusky, Ohio.
ConnectCRE also notes that the 70-bed facility ceased inpatient operations in summer 2025 due to financial strains, and that Colliers represented the buyer while Norton Asset Management and Harrington & Co. represented the seller, with the transaction following a competitive bidding process.
