ACG Metals agrees to buy 100% stake in Türkiye Keşkek gold project

ACG will pay $4.0 million upfront for the Keşkek license, with an additional $3.85 million due in mid-2027 after first gold production.

ACG Metals has entered a binding agreement to acquire 100% of a Turkish mining licence that hosts the Keşkek gold project in Türkiye, the company said in a news release. The deal covers a 666-hectare area and is expected to support production at ACG’s nearby Gediktepe operations, with Keşkek located about 43 miles from the Gediktepe mine and roughly 70 kilometers away with ore-transport infrastructure already in place. ACG will initially pay $4 million for the licence, followed by $3.85 million in mid-2027 upon first gold production. The company said Keşkek is expected to provide additional oxide ore for its heap-leach facility, using existing infrastructure to process gold. ACG expects the new project to extend Gediktepe’s operating life by several years and potentially double its annual copper-equivalent output from 20,000 tonnes to 40,000 tonnes. The company also said its heap-leach operations have increased gold recoveries to about 85% and noted recent progress at Gediktepe, including ramping a flotation facility after producing its first copper concentrate.
