Bitcoin trades near $78,800 as BNB Chain tokens rally

BNB and BNB Chain assets stood out as exceptions, with BNB up 2% since midnight UTC to about $754. CoinDesk noted that PancakeSwap (CAKE) and Syrup (SYRUP) climbed 6.4% and 4.9%, respectively, alongside gains in other BNB-linked names.
