Henry AI raises $16.5 million for an end-to-end commercial deal portal
The Series A funds Henry Deal, which expands the company from deck-making into underwriting, packaging, and closing for commercial brokerages.
Commercial real estate workflow platform Henry AI, founded by Sammy Greenwall and Adam Pratt, has raised a $16.5 million Series A round led by FirstMark Capital.
The funding came just two years after the company launched and coincided with the rollout of Henry Deal, an updated platform designed to cover the full commercial real estate deal lifecycle. Henry Deal extends beyond offering memorandums, underwriting, and pitch decks to include initial underwriting through packaging and closing, with full underwriting tools and a comps database.
Henry Deal can also generate market reports, buyer lists, lender lists, and pitch materials, and the platform was built in about 35 days. Greenwall said the company needed to become a full platform rather than a narrower tool, reflecting that many customers previously knew it primarily as a deck-making product.
The new platform was piloted and embedded with multiple enterprise brokerage organizations before the Series A launch. According to Commercial Observer, Pratt and Greenwall focused on learning customer workflows through earlier deck work, aiming for outputs and processes that are tailored to how users work.
