Silver Lake to merge Cegid and Silae in major AI-era software push
The deal pairs Cegid’s business management software with Silae’s payroll and HR platform.
Silver Lake is backing a combination of two French software companies, Cegid and Silae, in a transaction valued at 10 billion euros, according to CNBC Markets.
Cegid sells business management software, while Silae operates a platform focused on payroll and human resources.
The companies are set to combine their offerings as part of a broader bet on software built for the AI era, CNBC World reported.
