AXA XL appoints Rana Gillmon to lead private equity client relations
The newly created role will have Gillmon act as AXA XL’s primary private equity point of contact across the Americas and coordinate with underwriting teams on tailored insurance solutions.
AXA XL, the property and casualty specialty risk division of AXA, appointed Rana Gillmon to a newly created role focused on private equity clients in the Americas.
The role is designed to provide dedicated support to private equity firms, align engagement with their risk strategies and operational needs, and work with AXA XL’s regional and global underwriting teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions across private equity portfolios.
Gillmon will lead AXA XL’s private equity client engagement across the region as the primary contact, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to the position.
She joined AXA XL in 2022 from Chubb, where she served as a Global Client Executive managing key relationships in North America major accounts, and prior to that she spent 16 years at Marsh, including work in the firm’s Private Equity Mergers and Acquisitions Group, according to Reinsurance News.
