Brent nears weekly gain as Middle East supply concerns linger

Brent was last around $105.0 per barrel, while WTI fell sharply to about $92.6 per barrel in the same session.

Oil prices were lower on the day, but Brent was still positioned for a weekly gain as traders weighed ongoing concerns about Middle East supply security, OilPrice said.

The outlet noted that the risk sentiment persists even with reports of a potential U.S.-Iran deal and estimates of oil flows leaving the Strait of Hormuz.

At the time of writing, Brent crude was trading near $105.0 per barrel, down about 1.5% on the day, while WTI was around $92.6, down about 18.4%.
