Bitcoin ETFs extend inflow streak after $2.98 billion in 2026 gains

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs added $134.5 million on Friday, lifting seven straight days of inflows since Sept. 17 to about $2.98 billion.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reversed course after a mid-September selloff, adding $134.5 million on Friday and extending their inflow streak to seven straight trading days, according to Decrypt's Bitcoin ETF tracker.

The streak, which began Sept. 17, has pulled in about $2.98 billion in total, after the funds shed $450.4 million on Sept. 15 and lost another $295.9 million the next day following the Senate's failed cloture vote on the Clarity Act.

Decrypt also said the funds' inflows since have outpaced the prior two-day losses by roughly fourfold, with the biggest boost coming Sept. 21 when inflows neared $1 billion, their best day since October 2025.

The outlet noted that daily flows have become a closely watched measure of institutional demand, and that the Sept. 21 surge helped lift Bitcoin above the average ETF holder's estimated cost basis of $81,722, as estimated by Bloomberg.
