Northern Star rejects Gold Fields’ $27 billion takeover offer
Northern Star said it rejected the proposal, and its shares rose by more than 9% after the decision.
Northern Star shares rose more than 9% after the Australian gold miner rejected a takeover proposal from Gold Fields.
CNBC Markets reported that the rejected bid was valued at $27 billion.
